I started my journey in the U.S. Army, serving as a systems integrator for multiple mobile, field, and garrison systems. I initially specialized in lab management and cross classification data flows. My post service career focused on much of the same, managing laboratories with small datacenters and building enablement tooling for end users to speed up work cycles. This mentality around self service ended up carrying me into the private sector doing DevOps with a strong focus on automation and self-service. Over the following years I built on this focus, layering on platform, security, product, and business aspects to what it means to run a technology organization. My latest role has had me providing my expertise to the executive team on product delivery, segmentation, and compliance in the context of global expansion.
